Deloittes Digital Predictions for 2018

This piece of research strikes a chord with us as PropList.  Technology is changing they way that we undertake a myriad of tasks but the property profession, particularly the commercial property sector is starting to fall be behind.

PropTech is already becoming a dirty word with many in the profession, in particular the over promising that has been occurring or just the pace of change.

In this calm and considered research, Deloitte have explored how technology is changing and the practical applications that it can be used for.  Within the commercial property sector, the potentional for virtual and augmented reality is already widely known but seldom used - is this a missed opportunity?  Here at PropList we think it is.

Blockchain is another area that at first seems frightening but in reality is just using good technology to speed up transactions and record keeping.  It's coming to all sectors and by embracing the change, both to technology and working practices, the commercial property market can stay ahead of the game.
