PropList Blog

PropBike is a unique commercial property networking event, created by Proplist, with around 150 professionals, owners, developers and investors coming together to enjoy a days mountain biking in the heart of South Wales.
Bike Park Wales (Beic Parcio Cymru) is the UK’s first full scale mountain bike park, built by riders for riders, and offering trails from the extreme to the serene.
So, with just two weeks to go before PropBike 2019, it seems to be a good time to ask 'What's your skill setting?'
The trails down the mountain are split into a top section and a middle section, which allows you to change trail and style of riding during each run. Starting with the Blue runs, Bushwhacker or Norkle, followed by Off Grid give you an amazing introduction to the site. Terrys Belly, a slightly more challanging and considerably longer trail, is great for the more adverturesome.
The Red runs are where it starts to be come more challanging and these are definetly not for the novice rider. Wibbly Wobbly and Hot Stepper certainly live up to their names, and the A470 is a lot faster than the road. Insufficient Funds is always a challange but one we're all used to dealing with!!!
Black runs are for the serious adrenaline junkies - they are challenging in the extreme and the drop offs, up to 10ft, will put off all but the most experienced. Some of these runs will, we're afraid, be off limits on the day because of the mixed abilities of those attending. You can discuss on the day with Sam, a member of the Bike Park Wales or PropList teams which runs are available.
Over the day there will be on-site coaching available (the whole Bike Park Wales team will be there to assist), as well as experienced trail leaders taking groups down the runs and some experienced mountain bikers to ride with - so whatever your skill setting, it will be an amazing day!!
